One key part of your health is your connection to your community. And one way to connect with your community is to get involved and give back. Each Saturday, we feature different ways members of the Northshore Acupuncture Center commuity are rolling up their sleeves and giving back.
One way Ewa gets involved in her community is by raising money for NephCure Kidney International when she runs the Rock N Roll 10k. NephCure is funding the best and brightest researchers, educating patient families across the globe and partnering with pharmaceutical companies to find a cure for FSGS and nephrotic syndrome. FSGS is a cause of nephrotic syndrome in children and adolescents, as well as a leading cause of kidney failure in adults.
