What is your bedtime ritual?
Brush teeth and face, change into my pajamas, get my dog who is normally already half asleep on the bed in our guest room, snuggle with him for a bit, read for about 5-10 mins, kiss my husband goodnight and then lights out.
What do you do during the day that has the biggest impact (positive or negative) on your sleep?
When I work out I am in less pain so i definitely sleep better at night. If I haven’t taken proper care to clear my mind and get my stress
level down I will more then likely have trouble falling asleep.
In the last 5 years, what new belief, behavior or habit has most improved your sleep?
Not using the bed for anything but sleep.
If you have had a particularly challenging day and your normal bedtime routine isn’t enough for you to fall asleep, what do you try next?
I will do some gentle stretching and mindful breath meditation.
What purchase of $100 or less has improved your sleep the most?
Black out shades have definitely contributed to being able to fall and stay asleep.
