Sarah Bernauer is a certified Energy Healing Practitioner. Her practice is Radiance Revealed, and her office is at Heartwood in Evanston. She creates active partnerships with her clients, supporting their inner work and facilitating healing through clearing sessions and sharing tools and practices for the client to use outside of their sessions. She feels privileged to work with her clients and to witness their embodiment, empowerment and conscious awareness evolve as they shift, grow and heal.

What is your bedtime ritual?

My sleep ritual consists of slowing down about 1 & ½ hours before bedtime, which includes, putting screens away, clearing my energy field, meditating, and doing gentle stretches &/or restorative yoga.

What do you do during the day that has the biggest impact (positive or negative) on your sleep?

Getting outside during my day, particularly in nature, for movement, fresh air and sunshine, when it’s available, has the best positive impact on my sleep; even if I can only walk around the block.

In the last 5 years, what new belief, behavior or habit has most improved your sleep?

About 5 years ago I started using the skills from the Energy Healing Institute for grounding, regulating, containing and clearing my energy field, the chakras and aura. This helped me tremendously to align with my authentic self, and after rigorous study, I became a practitioner of this body of work. Maintaining my energy field daily and doing what I love both contribute to my sleeping very well, I love this stuff!
