short words or one word over and over. Sometimes I repeat, “sleep” over and over in my head with my eyes closed and it almost always makes me fall asleep. The key for me is not to panic that I’m not sleeping but rather to accept it and have faith that I will sleep soon enough and will be fine on whatever sleep I do get that night.
