What is your bedtime ritual?
Shut down computer/work/emails by 8pm non-negotiable. Take a warm bath or shower, read my book (also non-negotiable as it helps to wind down my mind). Do some EFT/Tapping also to help me wind down my mind and relax my body. I do keep my phone in my room but won’t look at it after 9pm. Here’s a video of Julie tapping to get ready for bed.
If you have had a particularly challenging day and your normal bedtime routine isn’t enough for you to fall asleep, what do you try next?
If I have had a particularly challenging day, I will start my nighttime rituals even earlier than usual. Definitely tapping on what created stress for me during the day so I can shift my energy and my thought patterns. I also may do a brain dump which is to take a pen to paper and write all the things that have created stress for me throughout the day.
What purchase of $100 or less has improved your sleep the most?
I use a sleep mask from Drowsy (https://us.drowsysleepco.com/pages/mask) that is so comfy, keeps the light out and relaxes me immediately. I also take 1 CALM magnesium gummy half hour before bed. It is only magnesium (no cbd/thc).
