What is your bedtime ritual?
Once ready for bed, I turn off the ringer on my phone, place a pillow between my knees and turn on the “Calm” App. I quickly click on
the sleep button and scroll down until I find Matthew McConaughey and he proceeds to tell me a bedtime story.
What do you do during the day that has the biggest impact (positive or negative) on your sleep?
As a clinical psychologist, I spend a great deal of my day sitting and hearing about the pain, losses and challenges of many people. This can have a negative impact on my body and my mind by leading to a tendency to vegetate in front of the t.v. before being able to create a space of peace and calm.
In the last 5 years, what new belief, behavior or habit has most improved your sleep?
Using float therapy at my center once a week followed by the “Calm” app before bed and drinking organic celery juice each morning has
been super beneficial for my health and wellness.
What purchase of $100 or less has improved your sleep the most?
“Calm” app and float therapy with a magnesium supplement.
