Cookies for Community (Fridges)

One of my favorite holiday traditions is delivering cookies to neighbors.

I’d like to invite all of you to join me this year. Let’s fill the Evanston Community Fridges with some holiday treats. Join me for a cookie exchange…with a twist – instead of bringing a variety of cookies home, we’ll be packaging them to distribute to our neighbors through the community fridges.

For those who can’t bake or don’t have time to bake – no problem! There are three different ways to participate.

1) Drop off cookies between 6-8pm at Fleetwood Jourdain Center on Thursday, 12/22. You are welcome to stay to help package up cookie trays. (Consider joining us for community acupuncture at 6:30pm)  **DEFY IT FITNESS MEMBERS – see below**

2) Drop off unopened baking ingredients at Northshore Acupuncture before Thursday, 12/22. We will distribute these to the community fridges for neighbors who would like to create holiday memories baking with their loved ones 💕. Consider buying packaged gluten free, nut free or vegan treats for our neighbors with special dietary needs.

3) Send me money via Venmo @Amy-Landolt-4 and I’ll purchase baking supplies on your behalf.

Thanks for making the holidays a little sweeter for our neighbors.

Note: You can contribute to the Evanston Community Fridges year-round by donating through this link https://opencollective.com/evanston-community-fridges/donate

*DEFY IT FITNESS MEMBERS – You can drop off cookies at the gym Thursday morning 12/22 from 5:30am-8am. You can drop off baking ingredients any day before 8am on Thursday 12/22.
