Connecting to the Community: Vera

One key part of your health is your connection to your community. And one way to connect with your community is to get involved and give back. Each Saturday, we feature different ways members of the Northshore Acupuncture Center commuity are rolling up their sleeves and giving back.

This week’s feature is Vera who volunteers serving meals or working in the food pantry at the ARK. The ARK provides free social and medical services to help distressed members of the Chicagoland Jewish community return to self-reliance. They have opportunities to volunteer in Northbrook and Chicago one-time, occasionally, weekly or monthly.
