One key part of your health is your connection to your community. And one way to connect with your community is to get involved and give back. Each Saturday, we feature different ways members of the Northshore Acupuncture Center community are rolling up their sleeves and giving back.
This week we are featuring several members who are all support Planned Parenthood.
Planned Parenthood delivers vital reproductive health care, sex education, and information to millions of women, men, and young people worldwide. Planned Parenthood was founded on the idea that women should have the information and care they need to live strong, healthy lives and fulfill their dreams — no ceilings, no limits.
If you would like to get involved, you can donate to the Planned Parent Action Fund. You can also get involved by calling Speaker Ryan at 202-225-3031 to request that he end the Planned Parenthood special committee investigation.
Here is a script you could use:
“My name is ___________, and I am calling on you to shut down the special committee investigating Planned Parenthood.
For months, Planned Parenthood has been the target of a smear campaign based entirely on false accusations. A Texas grand jury has cleared Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast in Texas of wrongdoing — and instead indicted the extreme anti-abortion activists behind these outrageous claims. Planned Parenthood health centers committed no crimes and do not profit from fetal tissue donation programs. End the special committee investigation today.”
