Took me to another place

“The whole experience of cupping and acupuncture was amazing; it almost took me to another place. It was extremely relaxing: the experience of just laying there, the lights dimmed, you putting the needles in my ear and telling the story of acupuncture in the United States. I felt like I was in a movie. It is something you can’t just get everywhere.” Kemone Hendricks, founder of Evanston Present and Future, the nonprofit which created the Evanston Reparations Ambassador Program, Evanston’s Juneteenth Parade and the Teen Parent Leadership program.
