Relieve some stress and help raise money for Curt’s Café South

FullSizeRender (1)Curious about acupuncture? Want to help raise money for a great cause? Grab your friends and come to Curt’s Café South in Evanston for a stress relief treatment and help us raise $500 for Curt’s!

Benefits of a stress relief treatment include:

  • Increased calmness,
  • Relief from stress and emotional trauma,
  • Better sleep, and
  • A discovery of inner quiet and strength

How: You will be treated in a group, sitting up in chairs, fully clothed. Amy will place up to five small, sterilized disposable needles into specific sites on each ear. If you don’t want to have acupuncture, you can still benefit from the treatment by sitting with the group.

When: Tuesday,  September 29th at 8:30am and 12pm at Curt’s South and at 6:30pm at Curt’s on Central

Where: Curt’s Café South, 1813 Dempster St, Evanston

Cost: $20, proceeds will benefit Curt’s Café South

What is Curt’s Café?

The philosophy of Curt’s Café is to “dine with purpose”: enjoy great food and help our community at the same time. In addition to offering delicious food and a comfortable space, Curt’s Café is a non-profit organization that provides training in food service and life skills, for at-risk youth in Evanston.

How can you contribute if you cannot make the event?

If you cannot attend, but would like to donate to Curt’s Café, you can mail checks written out to Curt’s Café to Northshore Acupuncture Center at 2906 Central St #189, Evanston, IL 60201 or you can make a donation on Curt’s website (see the orange Donate Now button on the right). If you make a donation through the website, please send an email to amy@northshoreacupuncturecenter.com with the donation amount, so that we can track our progress towards our goal.
