What is your bedtime ritual?
After getting my kids in bed, I take time to decompress from the day. Depending upon the day that I’ve had, I have a few different things that I choose from to facilitate that. The activities include a MELT Method Rebalance Sequence to calm my nervous system, creating something for my new crochet business, watching some British tv on Britbox or having a cup of tea and a snack.
In the last 5 years, what new belief, behavior or habit has most improved your sleep?
I have never been the type of person who wakes up early naturally. I tend to be more of a night owl. Yet my husband is an early bird, so on school days, he takes the parenting duties in the morning, and I take the ones in the afternoon. So that allows me to be able to wake up when my body naturally wakes. Not having to be a slave to the alarm clock has been liberating!
What purchase of $100 or less has improved your sleep the most?
Definitely my MELT tools! Using the MELT Soft Roller to do a Rebalance Sequence instantly helps me feel more relaxed and less stressed and wired. I also like using the MELT Hand and Foot Therapy Kit and doing a foot treatment. Both of these MELT sequences help to calm my nervous system, which is just what I need to get into a restful state and get a good night’s sleep.
